As we all know cell phones become a part of our lives. Especially in this busy digital world of the internet. It acts as our entertainment, communication, access to news and information, research, and business sources. It’s an addiction seen among different cell phone users.

Many of us have been addicted to staring at the screens of our mobiles.

Whose life is at risk?

Every user who spends time staring at the cell phone screen without looking at the clock is at risk of addiction. No matter what to do on the cell phone screen, whether it’s a business meeting, social media, text messaging, games, movies, or having phone calls. According to a study it was observed that teenagers are addicted more than other age groups because they can’t manage screen time effectively.

Affects of cell phone addiction:

  • Less productivity.
  • Less creativity.
  • Mental health issues.
  • Poor sleep.
  • Eye pain and discomfort caused due to staring at the mobile screen.

  • Are you anxious when your phone or phone service is not in reach?
  • Have you tried to limit the use of your cell phone but didn’t succeed?

  • Track your time and set limits accordingly.
  • Keep your phone out of reach.
  • Practice mindful use of your phone.
  • Invest in real-time conversation with other people.
  • Avoid mobile usage when you are with your family.
  • Avoid mobile usage while eating.
  • Stop using cell phones in Class.
  • Stop using your cell phone when someone talking to you.
  • Avoid cell phone usage while going to bed.
